Meet Jim Zasowski
Founder, Z1CareerZone
Jim Zasowski is the Founder and President of both Z1 Solutions, Inc. executive search firm and Z1CareerZone. In 2010, Z1 Solutions, Inc. was recognized as one of the top 4 executive search firms in the U.S. as voted by the National Association of Personnel Services. Since 2000, Jim and his team have placed nearly 4,000 candidates with their client partners throughout the United States, Canada and abroad. Jim has conducted workshops and speaking engagements at a variety of colleges, businesses, and venues in the U.S. where he has shared “the secret sauce” of how to get the job you deserve.

Jim Zasowski
Founder and President
Jim Zasowski grew up in Clifton, NJ before moving his family to Colorado in 1988 making Colorado their permanent home. Jim graduated from the University of Tennessee with his undergraduate degree in Business Administration. Jim is the Founder and President of both Z1 Solutions, Inc. executive search firm and Z1CareerZone career coaching firm. Jim has also held leadership roles over his 20 years of corporate experience at Abbott Laboratories and Biosite, Inc.
Elizabeth Sanders
Project Coordinator
Elizabeth Sanders grew up in Colorado and currently resides in Denver. Elizabeth graduated from the University of Tennessee where she majored in Recreation and Sport Management with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation. Elizabeth brings her experience in recruiting, hiring, project management, e-learning, CRM, marketing and social media to the Z1CareerZone team!
Jock Murray
VP of Career Development
Jock Murray is a Vice President of Career Development at Z1CareerZone and President of the Jock Murray Group, LLC. Jock’s primary focus as a Vice President of Career Development will be establishing partnerships with organizations, government entities and the public sector to provide full sponsorships of Z1CareerZone’s online Career Recovery Program to those individuals who have lost their jobs as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Patrick Mejstrik
Associate
Patrick’s primary focus as an Associate will be establishing partnerships with organizations, government entities and the public sector to provide full sponsorships of Z1CareerZone’s online Career Recovery Program to those individuals who have lost their jobs as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bill Morrison
Associate
Having been in the education and athletic fields for over 25 years, Bill knows that planning and preparation lead to success. In addition to working with all students, Bill specializes in working with students with learning differences and prospective student-athletes. He will help you prepare and compete for your next position!
Ronnie Perchik
Associate
From getting his first professional position in a job market with double-digit unemployment, to now placing senior executives as a part of The NLP Group, Ronnie has the experience and knowledge of what gets people hired. Ronnie now brings that knowledge and experience to Z1CareerZone to find professionals that companies are looking for.
John Wilbanks
Project Director
John grew up in Northern Alabama and went into the U. S. Army after graduating from Lee High School in Huntsville. While in the Army John attended many military schools, including Basic, AIDT, Airborne School, U.S. Army Special Forces Qualifications Course, Primary Leadership, Instructor Training Course, Advanced Non-Commissioned Officer Course, German and Russian Language courses, Special Operations Target Interdiction Course.

Sarah Gunhouse
Vice President
Sarah grew up in Minneapolis, MN and is a proud alum of the University of Minnesota. Sarah was the recent Vice President of Specialty Sales at Quest Diagnostics. Prior to Quest, she has been Vice President of US Sales at OraSure, Inc. as well as Biosite where she started working in 1992, driving Biosite to record sales and success. Sarah and her family reside in Atlanta, Georgia.

Rusty Sherwood
Principal at FMI Center for Strategic Leadership
Rusty grew up in So. California and is a graduate of the University of Southern California and also has his MBA from Pepperdine University. Rusty is currently the Principal for FMI. He has been working at FMI since 2012, when he came from being the Vice President of National Sales at McGraw-Hill Construction. Rusty and his family reside in Castle Rock, CO.

Rich Staky
Real Estate Consultant / CFO
Rich is both a CFO and Real Estate consultant specializing in land acquisitions, strategic planning and operational improvement projects. Prior, Rich was President and Chief Financial Officer of John Laing Homes covering the western part of the U.S. and Washington D.C. Rich is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy where he received his BS and MBA degrees. He and his wife Laurie reside in the Denver area and have 2 children that are both married.
